Logano is riding high after his Daytona win, and he's hoping for another one at Kentucky.
Logano is one of eight Sprint Cup regulars competing in Friday night's 300- mile Nationwide race at Kentucky. Busch, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne, Brad Keselowski, Mark Martin and David Reutimann are the others.
Martin has yet to compete in a NASCAR race at Kentucky.
"I've had a lot of fun racing for Turner Motorsports this season," he said. "We were fortunate enough to get the win at Las Vegas and have had a few really solid runs in the meantime. I'm real hopeful we can get that Dollar General car to victory lane again this weekend at Kentucky. It would be a great way to finish off my time with the team."
UNOH 225 - Kentucky Speedway - Sparta, KY
This will be the first truck race held on a Thursday in a decade. The series ran on that day twice each season from 1995-2001.
Heading into Kentucky, Johnny Sauter holds a 20-point lead over rookie Cole Whitt. Ron Hornaday Jr. won the June 10 race at Texas and moved to within 33 points of the lead.
Hornaday is the only driver with multiple truck victories at Kentucky. His first win at this track came in 2006. Hornaday's 2009 Kentucky win was the third victory in a record-breaking five-race win streak that steered him to his fourth truck championship.
"Kentucky is a really fast racetrack and has really unique characteristics with the bumps," Hornaday said. "I've got two wins at the track and will definitely be going for my third. The fans have always been so great and supportive at this track, and with all three series there this weekend, they will really have a great experience."
"It's definitely a better state of mind heading to Kentucky Speedway after our win there last year," Bodine said. "We know we can get it done. We already knew that because we'd always run well there in the past. But getting the win last year proves it."
